When you create a Links Club account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional profile information such as your username and avatar. When you use the app, we collect the content you create including rounds, scores, notes, photos, course ratings, and playing partner tags.

If you grant permission, we may collect your device location to show nearby courses on the map. We also collect standard device and usage information such as device type, operating system version, and app interaction data to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Links Club service, including displaying your rounds and activity to other users (based on your privacy settings), powering the community feed, enabling course discovery, and personalizing your experience. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted data storage and secure authentication. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission between your device and our servers.

4. Sharing and Visibility

Your profile, rounds, and activity may be visible to other Links Club users depending on your privacy settings. You can make your profile private, hide individual rounds, or control whether rounds appear in the community feed. Playing partner tags are visible to other users.

5. Photos

Photos you upload to rounds or course galleries are stored in cloud storage and may be visible to other users. You can delete your photos at any time from the round edit screen.

6. Location Data

Links Club may request access to your device location to show nearby courses on the map. Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time through your device settings. We do not store or track your precise location history.

7. Third-Party Services

Links Club uses the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication and database), Mapbox (course maps), and Vercel (hosting). These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

8. Your Rights

You can update or delete your account information at any time through the app settings. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below.

9. Children

Links Club is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app.
